ACE I have had a very long day; it all started this morning. I got to the office and met a crying Venita. She has been my secretary for less than a week and decided to quit. I have had five different secretaries in less than a month, and none would ever be like Joey she worked for me for five years but had to quit because of some medical conditions, and since then, I have been forced to work with confused humans with a certificate they can't defend. They all nod their heads in understanding. "She leaves with me, or she leaves with no one." I am armed to the teeth, in my world, you have to come prepared for a battle, I know thousands of men want Mike's head on a platter. I signal for two of my men to wait outside and guard the door, I move in with Jake and Ryan. they are both ex-military men, I pay them a fortune to work for me. "Where is she?" I demand from Dave when I get in. He points to her, and I stop to observe her. She looks high, the fat ugly guy at her back has his hands on her boobs, and the one at her front has his hands under her dress. She isn't moving, for a second, I think she is just enjoying herself, when the fat guy holds her waist to steady her, I realise she is asleep, the only thing keeping her from falling face flat on the floor are the guys between her. I almost lose my shit when the fat asshole puts his hand on her fucking ass and squeezes it. Grabbing him by the hair, thank God for Ryan who quickly grabs the redhead before she falls. I grab the asshole's wrist, twisting his arm behind his back until I feel the satisfying pop of his shoulder dislocating. People on the dance floor start screaming and running. the slimmer guy starts shaking. I push him to the ground and press my shoe against his neck until his cries for mercy are cut off by his desperate gasp for breath. They work for Zade, a very dangerous underground crime lord involved in everything trafficable. "What the hell! Aella, wake up, what did you give to her." I turn to see a slim lady shaking Redhair. "I can't feel her pulse." I land a blow on fat fuck face. "What did you give her?" "Nothing I swear...it was just sleeping tablets. We were asked to bring her in unconscious". he is shaking terribly. She doesn't move or stir, I drag my feet toward her, and that is when I hear the gunshots. Without thinking, I lie on her, using my whole body to protect her. Jake has Redhair's friend on the floor too. "Fuck! fuck! what the fucking hell, why are they shooting at us.?" "Boss? we have to leave now. we are surrounded." "Cover me." I carry Redhair; she is as light as a feather. I have a private elevator in my office that leads directly to the garage. We ride the elevator in silence getting to the car park without being followed. "Drive miss...?" I stop looking at Redhair's friend. "Eva" she replies shaking. "I am so sorry you had to witness this today, my friend here will see to it that you arrive home safely." She looks at me confused. "What about Aella, who are you, people?" Her eyes widen in fear "If you try to hurt us, I will call the police." I like her fighting spirit. "Your friend leaves with me." "You must be crazy if you think I would let that happen, She doesn't know you, Aella has no relative that she knows of." I hate explaining things, I just act. "Here" I collect her phone and type in my number as if that would make any difference. "You are crazy, I am calling the police now." I am done wasting my time "I wasn't asking for your permission Eva. Call me tomorrow and I will see to it that you speak to her." I signal Ryan, and he half carries a screaming Eva to the car driving off. *********** I drive her to my house instead of my hotel. I have never brought a woman in here, it is like my own sanctuary, my healing space. She doesn't stir when I carry her up the stairs and deposit her on my bed. She is the first woman here, and it feels strange having her here. I drag a chair closer to her and I watch her sleep. I stand again, carrying her to the bathroom, I apply soap and water to a face towel and strip her face bare of all her heavy make-up. I move her back to the room and place her back on the bed, if not for her soft sighs, I might have panicked thinking she was dead. I sit on my chair watching her. She is beautiful. the pictures don't do justice to her angelic face. her flawless skin, smooth as porcelain, seemed to glow with a natural luminescence making her appear ethereal. I know beneath those closed lids are piercing blue eyes, I was first drawn to them when I saw her pictures. Her lips...fuck! they look like they were specially created to bring a man to his knees, they are thick and full, and my cock almost weeps in Joy. I lose her hair from her bun; I know they are supposed to be curly, and I am a tad disappointed that she had them straightened.
