Chapter 18 The Announcement

The D-day for the announcement of the chosen queen has finally come and everyone was waiting patiently to see who the lucky girl would be. Over the past few weeks, lots of people have been placing huge bets and stakes on the candidate they believe would take the crown. Catherine couldn't help but let out a slight giggle, thinking about how no one was likely to put their money on her. Of course, she couldn't blame them, she would bet on herself either. She never would have thought that she had a chance of becoming the chosen queen anyway.
