Chapter 83 Mutiny Of The Maple Tribe

Early on the following morning Lyons led his troops into the field. I was left behind among the Maple tribe, and this time the war was not known when it would be over. During the time of waiting I could only stay at Alpha Mac's every day, for Leon had given orders to Alpha Mac before he left that he would not allow me to leave the house for half a step. Alfred Mack, in obedience to Leon's orders, not only placed a guard round the house, but sent two guards with me every day, wherever I went. Alfa Mac's arrangements made me feel as though I were being watched like a prisoner. But his Luna would come and see me every day and talk to me or send me some muffins she made. Thanks to Donna, at least her presence keeps me from getting bored every day.
