I tried to explain what I'd felt, what had just changed for me, for us, but it was so hard for me to put into words; I knew what I wanted to say, but I didn't know how to say it without sounding like an hysterical nut-case, and the more I tried, the less sense I made, and then the tears started. Poor Roly was shocked at my sudden need to cry; he couldn't work out what had happened to make me so blue, not at first, but I think he began to understand after I'd let the tears clear my head a little.
