While letting out a louder scream, I pressed my eyes shut and winced to brace for the impact of my fall. To my further surprise, I never completed my fall and never hit the ground. Instead, I felt my legs being lifted up from right under me. When I opened my eyes again the whole world was upside down. My eyes widened in shock as my mouth dropped open before I let out a much louder scream than before when I realized that I was hanging upside down. “Get away from me!” I yelled as the dog took a step toward me.
