I'm sure that you would have had a much better time spending time with her than simply just sitting here with me with nothing to do," I said while sounding too bitter for my own liking. I had no idea why I said something like that, but by the time I realized that those words had left my lips, it was already too late for me to take them back. Although I realized immediately that that wasn't exactly what I wanted to say or what I meant, I couldn't stop myself from talking. Bradon looked at me with a slightly surprised expression on his face, but he did not say anything in response to my words. His continued silence only drove me further into the midst of my own anger.
