"What do you mean?" Nicole asked. "She's the one who bullied me first." Lucas said somewhat innocently; his pair of good-looking slanted eyes looked straight at Nicole, looking so pitiful. Although Nicole knew that Lucas was pretending, she still couldn't be immune to that look on his face. She shook her head and said, "What Auntie Olivia did was a manifestation of liking you, but what you did was not what a gentleman must do." "Okay, I'll apologize to her." Lucas put away his innocent expression and walked out with a sigh. Olivia still liked Lucas very much; after all, this boy looked pleasing to the eye, making her unable to get angry. Soon after, she started to touch Lucas again. Lucas had been holding back for Nicole's sake but distancing himself from Olivia as much as possible. The three spent the whole night together in such a harmonious atmosphere. Early in the morning, when Nicole got up, Lucas had already gone out to buy breakfast and set it on the dining table. "Good morning, Mommy." He flashed a big smile at Nicole. Even though his face resembled Samuel's, Samuel had never smiled at her. At the same time, Lucas was Nicole's angel, an angel that belonged only to her. "Good morning!" Nicole rubbed his head happily. Olivia heard the sound and came out of the room. When she saw the breakfast on the table, she said happily, "Nicole, you're practically my angel! You bought me breakfast! That's great; I can finally have breakfast today before class." "Lucas bought it; I just got up, too." Nicole was used to this kind of behavior from Olivia, but Lucas frowned. "Mommy, do I have to go to Auntie Olivia's kindergarten?" His tone was tinged with a hint of contempt. Olivia's ears immediately pricked up. "You little punk, what's with your tone? Let me tell you, I'm the ace teacher of our kindergarten!" "E*!" Lucas ignored her and sat at the dining table, picking up his chopsticks and eating breakfast. Olivia was dumbfounded. While Nicole fled the scene in a hurry. "Excuse me, Miss, may I ask who you're looking for?" The receptionist spotted Nicole soon and stopped her. Nicole glanced around the luxurious and magnificent lobby of the Eternal Group. It was no wonder it would become the leading enterprise in Seapolis City. But now that she was back, it was hard to say if the Green family could continue holding the number one position in Seapolis City. "I'm looking for Mr. Green. I'm Catherine, the designer sent by the H' J Group, and I'm here to report for duty today." Nicole said with a faint smile. Upon hearing this, the receptionist didn't dare be slack and smiled, "Miss Catherine, please wait a moment. I'll inform Mr. Green for you." "Alright." Nicole didn't make things difficult for her as she stood at the reception counter and waited. At that moment, a familiar voice came from behind. "Emily, is Samuel here? He left in a hurry this morning and hasn't had breakfast yet. I'm coming to bring him some food. You don't have to inform him; I'll go straight upstairs." She pulled Nicole's long hair and said viciously, "You dare to come to the Eternal Group and seduce Samuel with your beauty. This is a warning to you! If there's a next time, I'll ruin your face!" Nicole narrowed her eyes as she listened to Riley's vicious words. At first, she wanted to resist, but out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a figure walking out of the elevator. She wondered if Samuel had ever seen Riley in her arrogant, domineering form. Nicole looked at Samuel, who had just stepped out of the elevator, letting Riley yank her by the hair and let out nonsense. Then she said with some anger, "Your group goes too far in bullying others!" "Go too far in bullying others? That I didn't skin your vixen face is a kind of tolerance for you. You'd better get out of the Eternal Group now, or else.." "Mr. Green, is this the attitude and way of the Eternal Group in welcoming the designer sent by your partner company? If you don't have the sincerity to cooperate, you can talk to our president. You don't need to insult our H J Group like this!" "Miss Nicole, I'm sorry." Samuel extended his hand towards Nicole. Nicole kept her head down as her hair was yanked in Riley's hand. Her eyelids twitched slightly when she saw Samuels's long, slender fingers. "Mr. Green, I think there might be a problem with our cooperation. I need to report to our president about the treatment we received from your company before we go into cooperation." Nicole jerked her head up, and her sharp, knife-like eyes looked straight at Samuel. Samuel was knocked down with a feather. Was it her? Was Catherine the woman whose name was similar to Nicole's and whose body shape and pace were extremely similar to hers? But Samuel was dumbfounded for just a moment and quickly reacted. "Miss Nicole, you've misunderstood. Riley isn't a group member; she's my family member. Just now, she acted rudely towards you; I apologize on her behalf."
