Chapter 25 Sensitive Spot

Richard gave Thomas a long, thoughtful stare. Earlier on, Richard had studied the brooch that was stabbed into Olivia's acupuncture point. Everything that Thomas did—from the accuracy he had to the strength he applied—was near-perfect. Furthermore, what shocked Richard the most was the angle at which Thomas had inserted the brooch. He had inserted it at a diagonal angle that allowed him to target two acupuncture points, which subsequently allowed him to stop the bleeding. Judging by Thomas' skills, he knew more than just one or two acupuncture points that helped to stop the bleeding. What puzzled Richard the most was how the young man before his eyes had minimized all his hard work when he had an obvious opportunity to take credit for whatever he did. "What's going on here, Richard?" Norman asked.
