Phoebe sat in her cubicle, staring at the desk in front of her that now displays her name and couldn’t believe it. Finally, here she was, working in the headquarters of the Clayman Technology like she had always dreamed of. Ever since she was a child, she always felt like she was missing something until when she turned sixteen and saw a picture of the headquarters company. She instantly felt pulled to it like a piece of her soul was there. There was a branch of the company in Toronto where she grew up and during her internship, she had gone there, believing that her soul just wanted her to work in the company. But it didn’t feel like anything, it didn’t feel special. However, whenever she hears about the headquarters, she feels her heart flutter and look up in longing. The birthmark on her neck would also throb in pain that she would have to touch it to calm herself. She knew she was connected to the company but she doesn’t know why and why it has to be to the headquarters. So immediately after her internship, she started applying for a visa to move to London, where the headquarters was. She finally settled in London four months ago and could only wait for her appointment for an interview which she has gotten from Toronto. It wasn’t easy to find a slot in the HQ and when she finally did, her appointment was in six months later and she knew she must finalize her visa before then.
