Maya had a book in hand and sat in the garden of the manor, reading through words but still not taking anything in, staring at the brown paper and caressing printed words, but no matter how she tried, her head was still not in it. She couldn't still believe she was in this situation; how in the hell did she even find herself here? A stupid piece of paper with her signature on it ruined her life.
