Chapter 3 Leaving Home

In agony, I opened my eyes. As my emerald eyes met his steel-gray ones, I realized I had made a grave mistake by signing those papers. This man was nothing short of a devil. I struggled to maintain eye contact with him, as that was his desire, but the agony made it nearly impossible even to think. The pain he caused my was no accident. His hands encircled my neck as if to strangle me. I clenched my fist as it slowly constricted around my neck. This man was going to end my life, and not even my father could intervene. "Good!" He was content that I was now fixated on him. This was just the beginning of what he had in store for me. He intended to make me suffer. He intended to make me plead. "Do you understand why you're coming with me?" I attempted to shake my head, but his firm grip kept my neck in place. I had been afraid of him before. But now, seeing the hatred in his eyes, I was even more terrified. "Speak with your lips, bitch!" "No, sir!" my voice echoed in my ears. I sounded just as I appeared. Like an angel. An angel who would soon be in hell. His brows furrowed menacingly, "Sir? Did I just hear you call me sir? Didn't you read the contract you signed?" He released my neck and snatched the paper from the table, shoving it in my face. "here, this is what it says. You're my slave now! I own you. When I say jump, you jump. When I tell lie down, you lie down." To prevent further pain, I stuttered, "Y-ye-yes, sir." He chuckled, "Don't call me sir, slave. Call me Master. Yes, Master! Understand?" I nodded my head once more, feeling fear creep up inside me. As I saw his hand raised, I closed my eyes tightly and whispered, "Yes." Instead of his hand striking me, he gently fixed a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled at the frightened girl in his grasp. "Good girl," he murmured before releasing me, causing me to slump back into the chair. He then tenderly bruId my cheek. "Wipe your tears," he commanded, relishing in the disarray of my face and the way my nipples perked up. Thoughts of how he would use my danced in his mind. I was his plaything, and he would do as he pleased with me. my father seemed unfazed by it all, leaving me feeling utterly betrayed. What had I gotten myself into? I had a sinking feeling that it would only lead to ruin. "Go pack your things and wait in the car for me. You have ten minutes, not a second more. Understood?" "Yes, Master," I replied, wondering if that would be my only response to him from now on like a puppet. I fought back tears, knowing they would only provoke more pain from him. With a bowed head, I exited the room. The ache in my body was overwhelming; even my hair felt like a tangled mess on my head. Once in my room, I collapsed to the floor and wept, tears streaming down my face. Dora, an elderly servant, entered, and upon seeing me, her face softened with compassion. She was the only one who treated me like a human being in that house. Kneeling, she embraced me. "It's alright, Maya. It's not the end of the world," She reassured, though even she doubted her own words. The Don was ruthless. I stood no chance against his cold heart. Dora shook my head in sorrow. "H-he's gonna kill me, Dora, he wants to kill me," I exclaimed, my voice trembling with fear. Dora held me tightly, comforting me, "Don't worry, there's nothing we can do about it now. I'll pray for you." Suddenly, I jolted up. The Don had given me only ten minutes to pack, and I didn't want to face any mistreatment from him. "We've packed everything we thought you might need. It's all in the car, waiting for you," Dora assured me, bringing a sense of relief. I stepped outside and saw three limos waiting. my eyes met Damon's, now my Master, sitting in the passenger seat, his gaze fixed ahead. Despite the cold night, I felt sweat dripping down my body. Uncertain whether I should join him on the same ride, I noticed my bags lying on the ground near the limo's booth. Gathering my courage, I approached one of the men and asked, "Why is my luggage on the floor, sir?" "The boss said you won't be needing them," came the chilling reply. My heart sank. I strolled at first but quickened my pace when my Master grew impatient. Finally, I closed the car door behind me. Damon glanced at me briefly, then turned his attention back to the front. I stared out of the window, catching a last glimpse of the beautiful house I had called home my entire life. Anna stood at my bedroom window, wearing a mischievous smile. "Start the car, let's go," Damon barked, breaking the silence. I shivered at the sound of my voice. A smile crept across his face as he realized he had my right where he wanted me. I was terrified now, and he hadn't even begun yet. The car pulled out of the gate as Maya bid my final farewell to my home. They traveled in silence. I traveled in silence, absorbing my voice as he barked orders into his phone. After a long journey, they arrived at an enormous mansion with towering gates and fences. It dwarfed my father's home, and my jaw dropped in amazement. As they stepped out and approached the door, a girl of my age suddenly ran up and embraced Damon with joy. He hugged her back lovingly. I recognized her from the party. I didn't know her name, but I remembered her. She was Don's sister. He gently stroked her hair. The girl was eighteen. "You left without saying goodbye. Derinem will soon replace you as my favorite brother," she teased. He chuckled, "We'll have our outing another day, Maria. I had important business to attend to today." Maria's gaze fell on me beside Damon, noticing my sad and frightened expression. There was a mark on my neck as if someone had choked me. "Who is she?" Maria pointed at me. "She’s the new servant," Damon replied, unaware that his sister was still awake. He didn't want her to see me, especially since he was not in this state. I inquired about my name in a friendly manner. I felt Damon's intense gaze on me and whispered my name. Damon interrupted, stating that there was a better time for introductions, and instructed me to follow him. I complied, knowing that following my Master's orders was crucial for survival in that place. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the room, swiftly locking the door behind me. I stumbled, feeling the sting on my cheek from his forceful grip. Tears welled up in my eyes as I tried to compose myself. "Why did you tell her your name without my permission, huh? You stupid bitch!" he spat, his voice filled with anger. I remained silent; my head bowed in shame. He yanked my up by my clothes, causing my to gasp in fear. His eyes bore into mys, a warning evident in his gaze. "One more slip-up, Maya," he warned in a low voice, "and you'll regret it. Got it?" My voice trembled as I whispered, "Yes, Master."
