Chapter 348 - Three Benefactors

One evening, a ferry at the upper reaches of the Returning River. A white-faced scholar, with two servants, tall and short, walked towards the ferry in a hurry, the two servants carrying boxes that looked heavy. One of the servants shouted toward the ferry, "Boatman, we want to cross the river!" A boatman came out of the ferry, looked at the three of them, and said, "It's too late in the day for a boat. Come back tomorrow!"
