We went looking for him, only to discover that the office building where he maintained his private company and took residence in has two faces – the Real World and the Fog World, and the office block was a conduit connecting entryways into both domains. This impressed upon us the capabilities of the Spirit of the Heirloom Axe, and we were further fazed by a magical domain he had created on the tenth floor of the building. Stepping into it was like stepping into the middle of a boundless space and we were trapped in the middle of nowhere. Only after a gritting and strenuous battle, we finally defeated him and he died at Big Sister's blade. But I understood full well one thing – this was not the end. At least not yet for the Spirit of the Heirloom Axe. His physical body might have been destroyed, but his soul still endured. After all, he, like me, was also a Spirit of a legendary ancient relic. Unless the Heirloom Axe was destroyed, I could see no way to utterly shatter his existence once and for all.
