"isn't the reason clear all over her body,she is wretched,who would want such a person for a mate,she would be a curse to anyone who accepts her,I can't accept such a person as my mate,the moon goddess did me wrong today by mating me with someone like her,a weak being like her,she can never be my luna"he announced and everybody laughed. He took a step towards me looking me in the eye,he held my chin up tightly so I could look at him.he was hurting me.his hold on me was painful.I wondered if the mate bond worked on him.he was really cold towards me. "I hate you Aurora Wilson,you can never be my mate , even in the next life,you won't ever be my mate,you won't have anything to do with me,I hate you and I reject you, don't ever show your ugly face and cursed being in front of me."he said and released his grip from me walking down the stage. My feet couldn't carry my body anymore,I fell down helplessly ,tears rolling down my cheeks.Janet approached me and hugged me,I was crying so helplessly,I hated myself for being weak.His words were the most hurtful words I have ever heard since I was born.I have never felt this kind of pain am feeling now before in my entire existence. I watched him as Ivy ran towards him and hugged him tightly,she was hugging my mate. My mate was cheating on me right in front of me.this was the worst disrespect I have gotten in my life. Janet looked at them in anger."baby girl,stop looking at them because you would only get hurt,this is very far from being over but for now,you have to be strong,today is your transformation day,our transformation day so you have to be strong, okay" "Okay"I nodded, hugging her. I couldn't stop myself from looking at them. My heart ached when I saw him kissing Ivy.This two people have no dignity in them. Everything happened so quickly,I saw Nicklaus crashing against the wall, everywhere was noisy again.it was Dave who hit Nicklaus ,he was furious. "How dare you?"Nicklaus said in a cold voice. This was the first time he was challenged since his entire existence. "Have some dignity and self respect in you man,I hope there is really one left in you.''Dave said to him in anger. Nicklaus ' eyes had turned darker,his wolf was threatening to shift.He was really furious.werewolves were proud creatures especially the ,Nicklaus was no exception,I knew that a fight would break out soon. I really hoped Dave would be alright and a part of my heart also wished for Nicklaus to be alright too. I still loved him even though he rejected me.I really wished he loved me too. "And who are you to teach me about dignity,what do you know about dignity?"Nicklaus asked angrily, fuming in anger. "I'm not here to teach you about dignity because you should know what that is or are just dumb and stupid?''Dave fired back. Everywhere was now noisy,the way had been cleared for them in case they wanted to fight. "I am sorry to tell you this but I don't know what dignity is, can you remind me"Nicklaus said moving closer to Dave smirking like a devil he was. "You just rejected your mate right in her face in front of everyone without considering her feelings.I know that she is an omega but she has feelings too. What kind of person are you?As if rejecting her was not enough,you went on to tell her hurtful things defining her personality, saying she is cursed,who told that? That's what everyone thinks but she is not cursed,who are you to judge and define her?''Dave was very angry. I really felt like crying on how he was fighting for me.in fact I didn't feel like crying because I was already crying. "So this is what dignity means,who are you to challenge my decision?don't you see that she is a taboo to the law of dignity?"Nicklaus fired back, making Dave's anger increase. How did I manage to crush on Nicklaus ? His words were really killing me slowly.I don't know why but I can't stop loving him no matter what I do.I really love this guy. "You are sick in the brain,as if rejecting and insulting her was not enough,you went on to cheat on her with my mate right in front of me,are you sure you are okay?Dave asked him in anger. "Just shut up,who says I am your mate,I don't accept you as my mate"Ivy cut in angrily. "Stay out of this,we still have our own scores to settle and don't talk when I am talking"Dave ordered Ivy and Ivy found herself obeying him.Nicklaus was not okay with this. "So that was what gave you the right to punch me,do you know who I am,I am the future Lycan King of this community"Nicklaus yelled, pride written all over his face. "I know who you are and the only thing I know about you is that you are a hopeless animal,do you think your pack will still be powerful if you rise up as the alpha and Lycan King ,I don't think so,your father will be very disappointed in having a son like you,you will only be the cause of the downfall of your pack and this community as a whole, everyone will know that you are a curse too,you don't act like a or a werewolf,you act like a dog" Everybody started to murmur,Dave really insulted him.if there was an award for the person that insulted people the most,Dave would be the one to carry the award home. Nicklaus was hit hard by Dave's word.he was really angry now.what werewolves hated the most was being called a dog. Nicklaus charged at Dave punching him hard, making Dave stagger, blood rushing down his face through his nose.he didn't see it coming.he was taken unawares by Nicklaus . Dave positioned himself in a fighting position and a hot fight ensued between the duo.one was fighting for his pride as a future Lycan King while one was seeking vengeance for the disgrace his friend,his first love had to endure just because she was an omega. I couldn't watch them anymore,tears were escaping from my eyes,I just prayed for the well being of the two people I love.my friend and brother (Dave) and my childhood sweetheart(Nicklaus )I knew they won't kill each other because there were rules guiding our werewolves community which one of them was that killing wasn't allowed unless if the person that was to be killed betrayed a pack and there must be evidence for the claim and that before execution takes place,it must be approved by the committee of werewolves councils in our community. If anyone breaks the rules of killing someone,the person would be sentenced to death by hanging or be banished from our community as a rogue. My heart was aching badly,the pain I was passing through was unexplainable.i gathered up the little strength I have left in me and ran away from the hall. My friend Janet saw me and started to run after me."Aurora wait!"She kept on shouting after me but I didn't listen to her.I wanted to be alone.I didn't want anyone to keep me company. I was running so fast that I didn't see the rock in front of me,I stumbled upon the rock and fell down. I yelped in pain.blood was gushing out from the wound.it was so painful.I was now suffering from emotional and physical pain.I was shedding tears like a baby,I don't blame the people that say that I'm weak. Janet caught up with me."what's wrong with you?I told you to stop but you won't listen to me,you have injured yourself now,the full moon will be out soon,how are you going to transform in this your pitiable state, everytime you are crying, anything that happens to you,you are crying,be strong for once."she nagged but I couldn't stop crying. My tears were now flowing out from my eyes like a river. Janet looked at me with irritation."Stop being a cry baby,be strong" she yelled.
