In the beast society, it wasn't new for the alpha to have several wives other than their mate. Unlike the blood tribe women who could only bear the child of their mate, the beast clan members can get pregnant after having sexual intercourse with their opposite sex. This became a tradition in the Wyslien Kingdom, thus anyone with a pretty face could either become the alpha's woman or a sheer servant. Mathew Solic cared a lot for his younger sister, Azrene. He would always be willing to give whatever she desired as long as he could make her happy. Azrene's mother was one of his father's lover who was initially brought as a slave, a mere human with a lovely face whom his father loved the most. The prettiest lady in the entire kingdom, someone that every noble beast mean sought after despite being born from a human mother. To protect her, Mathew decided to take her as his woman. With that, no one would try to get their hands on her. But the girl was stubborn. She refused her brother's help and chose to be his slave, causing him more headaches.
