I fold the note, place it inside the sleeve of my dress, and quickly blow the candle out before pulling the stone wall shut behind me. I follow the sound of Maximus's calls. I can hear the worry in his voice. So, I run to find him quicker, 'Maximus, I'm here,' I shout. A few moments later, I’m back in his arms, 'Everyone has been looking for you! I was worried something had happened to you,' he says.
