Chapter 8 Elena Is Released But Not Freed

Elena paced around in the cell room, she had no idea how long she had stayed here because there was no window down here in the basement but she knew it was a new day. She had eventually slept off the previous night, after waiting for long hours, hoping that someone would come to set her free. She wondered what these vile men wanted with her, she had no business with them and neither did her father. This was an entirely different gang, so what did they want with her? Then she heard footsteps approaching the cell and she sighed in relief. Finally someone was coming to her rescue; at least that is what she thought. She looked out of the metal bars and saw legs coming down the stairs, she recognized the person immediately. Well, he had saved her from the bad guys just to lock her up here, what was his problem with her clothing? How was she supposed to be comfortable bathing in a strange man’s bathroom and changing into clothes she had no idea where they were brought from. Leonardo walked down the stairs and approached her. He stood right in front of the cell, with a round hat on his head. She came closer to him and held the metal bars, staring at him with scrutinizing eyes; did he come to free her? The little glimpse of his face she could catch, said different. “What do you want from me? Just let me go and I won’t say a word about this to anyone,” she promised. Leonardo chuckled softly and then his facial expression returned to the ground state, which is the usual solemn face. “Someone would be here to pick you up, not to set you free though, but to take you along with them on tonight’s mission.” He announced. “What are you talking about?” Elena asked with furrowed eyebrows. “What mission? I am not interested,” she added. “I didn’t say you have a choice,” he uttered coldly. “Just do as I say and you will be fine.” Leonardo turned around to leave but she called him. “Leonardo Salvatore.” He paused immediately and turned back to face her, with a look of surprise on his face. “That is your real name, isn’t it?” she queried, he hummed silently, still looking at her with keen eyes. “Don’t be so spooked, I overheard one of the men say something about you,” she added and he seemed even more interested in what she had to say. “Alright, so what does that matter to you?” he asked coldly. “Well, I just wanted to say, you look educated and civilized, not barbaric and uncultured like the others, you are different. So why are you doing this? Just let me go, please,” she pleaded in a soft voice. Leo sighed and looked down. “You don’t know me or the things I have done,” he replied almost in a whisper. “You are right, but I know that you are nothing like those men, maybe you used to be, but not anymore. You are not the heartless Boss that you are pretending to be and deep down you know that,” she persisted. “You are right, I am not as heartless as the rest of them, but you see that guy that tried to harass you last night? His name is Luca and he might look like an angel but he has the heart of the devil, if I were you… I would do exactly as he says tonight.” Elena crumpled her face. “What do you mean?” “The mission I just informed you about, he is the Capo in charge of such a mission, he would be leading the team, so you better play along. I might be able to keep you alive in here, but once you are out there with him, if you even try a slight trick, he will put a bullet in your brain.” Leonardo informed her. Elena felt her heart flip and she swallowed hard. “Is that supposed to scare me?” she asked, trying to act bold. “No, but it should terrify you,” he replied. “I won’t say it again, do as you are told or you might never make it back alive,” he warned her. Elena scoffed and grabbed the metal bars separating them. “I am not scared of your threats, let me out of here or you would regret this,” she retorted. “I am glad to know that you aren’t terrified, maybe you would make it through the night,” he said mockingly and turned around again to leave. “What time is it? Can someone at least get me something to eat?” she blurted out. Well, she wasn’t able to endure the rumbling in her stomach. She didn’t get the chance to eat last night and she had no idea how long she had been here today. Leonardo paused again at her words, but this time, he didn’t care to turn around or face her. “Not just food, you have a second chance to bathe and get out of those clothes, you wouldn’t want another freak trying to force themselves on you, would you?” he chuckled softly and then he began to climb the stairs. Elena scoffed, he was stylishly blackmailing her, and it was working. She watched him disappear up the dark stairs and then she went back to sit on the floor. But a few minutes after he was gone, a lady and a young armed man came down the stairs; she recognized the man as one of the men that had brought her here last night. The man walked to her cell and unlocked it with a key, and then he opened the door. “Come out,” he instructed. Elena hissed rudely and stood up, she wanted to walk out as slowly as possible in order to prove that she was not being controlled by them, but that was just her pride and ego acting, deep down she knew that she had no power in here. She reluctantly walked out anyway, and rolled her eyes at the man. Yeah, you could say she was troublesome, because she is definitely not easy going. However the man said nothing in reply, he didn’t even react, he just closed the gate and faced the two ladies. “Come with me,” the lady instructed. She was older by a lot, but not the granny type of older; maybe she would be in her late fifties. She had black natural hair that was braided in three knots. The lady stepped forward and after a little hesitance, Elena followed her. The armed guard man followed behind them, he was probably there as the guard. ** * * * * * * * * The lady who she had learnt to be a maid, opened a door for Elena and signified to her with unsaid words that she should go in. She looked at the lady and the man, hesitated for a while and then walked in reluctantly. She heard the door shut behind her and she turned around immediately. She was scared, with her heart beating faster than usual. She looked around the room, she was the only one in here for as much as she could tell. The room was almost as large as Leo’s bedroom, but it was differently furnished and designed. Almost everything in it was pink in color, starting from the walls to the bedspread and the tiles, it looked like a pink party in there. She knew just why she was here, it was for refreshment, not like this was now her room, she shouldn’t just get excited yet; she thought silently to herself. She located the bathroom with a little difficulty; well, the door was pink as well and it fit in with the room wall, how would she know that a door was there? Of course, by finding the small unlock button on it. She got into the bathroom and made sure to lock it from the inside first, she searched around the shelves and found three neatly wrapped fresh towels. She grabbed one immediately and dropped it on a close statue there, and then she stripped off her dirty torn clothes till she was left on her panties alone. Just then there was a knock on the door, not the bedroom door but the bathroom door itself; someone was in the room!! And she was unclad aside the yellow detailed lace Panty, her boobs and body was completely naked!! To be continued!!
