Mama looked at me with a melancholy state. I rolled my eyes when she came over and hugged me; she had been like this since my wedding started this morning. I feel her eyes are puffy, and her nose is red. I can’t hide my sadness either; she’s the only person who will stay with me when everyone leaves me. Mama unwrapped her arms and looked at me with teary eyes; we smiled goofy as we stared at each other. Caroline came to interrupt us; she was confused by our situation, then she came over to me, and I moved to hug her. “We will always be with you, no matter where Reyhan takes you; home is always home, baby.” Caroline smiled, and my tears didn’t stop like a broken faucet. Rani came closer, and we were like a girl group; they embraced me.
