Chapter 107 Burying the Hatchet
When Damon heard what I said, I noticed tears welling up in his eyes. At the same time, Dylan clenched his bloodied fists and kowtowed before us. Then, he looked up in despair and stood up. "I'm a man of my word, so I'll admit defeat since I've lost. Now that my son is gone, I don't care if my reputation gets undermined. If Damon wants me to kneel, I'll do as he wishes." Dylan then turned his attention toward Damon and was about to kneel.
However, Damon got a hold of Dylan, preventing him from sinking to his knees. This reminded me of a familiar scene; back then, I tried venting out my pent-up anger on my brother by making him do the same thing to my parents, but in the end, I couldn't bring myself to do that and only managed to make him kneel before me.
