A few days went by, and before we knew it, Yohan was celebrating his first birthday. Despite the fact that I am still concerned about my connection with Yohan, I am unable to deny the fact that I have already loved him as if he were my own kid. As a father, I did the best I could to spoil him and show him how much I cared for him. Amy, my other child, was currently with Mom, speaking with Aunt Jonah and Gio. They were on a table that had been set out for Yohan's birthday celebration. Crista had planned the whole thing, telling me once that being a hands-on parent was actually a pleasant experience and she was thoroughly enjoying it. I looked around, seeing different faces - both familiar and strange - all of whom had been invited separately by Crista and me.
