Chapter 1 The Betrayal

Livy's POV My name is Livy, and I am married to my Alpha husband. My husband is the owner of one of the largest packs in California; he is feared by most and admired by all. He is one of the strongest Alphas to have ever walked this earth, and I'm proud to be called his wife. Yeah. "If you need anything—" he starts to speak, but I do not wait for him to finish his words. "Thank you for everything; I'll take my leave now." Upon my words, I turned and immediately ran out of the house. I ran out of the pack and made my way into the woods. Once inside the woods, I strip out of my clothes, go on my fours, and soon I transform into my wolf form. Once in my wolf form, I encouraged my wolf to run wild, and she did. I don't understand myself or my emotions right now. I think a good run might calm me down. * After running in the woods for several hours, I return to the spot where I left my clothes, and just like before, I transform into my human form before putting my clothes on. Confused about what to do next, I leaned against a tall tree and closed my eyes. I can't return to the place where I called home for several years. I can't return to my parents either. I was sold by my parents to my husband. And not only me; they also sold my other siblings to wealthy, capable Alphas from all over the world. How did you enter our territory undetected? Are you some spy?" The other hefty man growled. Territory? What are they talking about? "Tell me where I am. I don't know where I am," I immediately begged. Please don't let it be what I am thinking. There's no way I'm in the enemy's territory, right? These men are not Lycans, right? "You'll get your answer soon; do not worry." Instead of replying to my question, the two men started laughing at me. After a few minutes of walking, they got to a van and threw me inside. Before I could properly understand my situation, I found myself in a room filled with young girls like me. Young she-wolves. They all look scared and malnourished. And some looked like they were about to pass out from starvation. What in the world is happening? "Hey," anxious to get an answer, I leaned closer to the girl beside me and whispered. "Do you know where we are?" It took a few minutes, but the girl eventually gave me a meaningful answer: "Yes, we are in the enemy territory; this is the Lycan's land, and we've just become their slave."
