Chapter 18 Goodbye

Concerned about the lack of response from Richard over the past two days, Elaine grew increasingly worried and decided to pay a visit to his magnificent mansion. As she approached, she noticed his car parked outside, leaving her certain that he was at home. Taking a deep breath, she stood by the door, gathering her courage before pressing the doorbell. Seconds ticked by, and just as Elaine was beginning to wonder if Richard had heard the bell, the door swung open. Her eyes widened as she came face to face with Richard, clad only in a towel wrapped around his waist, exposing his well-defined chest. Still dripping with water, his damp hair added to his disheveled appearance. The sight left Elaine momentarily speechless, completely captivated by his physique. Unbeknownst to her, Richard had already spoken to her twice, his words lost in her daze.
