Chapter 19 Her First Time Fuc*K (19)

Destiny had to take a moment to process everything she had just been told. Fortunately, Gwen and Tyler seemed to understand that, for neither of them spoke. So, Gwen and Tyler were open. Destiny hadn't helped Tyler cheat because he and Gwen allowed for extramarital sex. She was in no danger of being fired. Destiny suddenly let out a large sigh of relief. All the weight and anxiety she'd been holding onto that week suddenly left her body and for the first time in days she actually felt herself relax. She took her last swallow of wine and Gwen asked if she would like another. Destiny nodded and thanked her. Gwen refilled her glass and handed it to her. But, instead of returning to her seat on the sofa next to Tyler, Gwen perched herself on the arm of Destiny's chair. She then began to slowly run her hands through Destiny's hair. Destiny thought this was a bit odd but maybe Gwen was just trying to reassure her that everything was ok. Destiny looked over at Tyler. He was looking at Gwen with a smile on his face and Destiny could tell he was utterly besotted with his fiancée. Destiny might not understand their dynamic herself, but it certainly seemed to work for them. "I'm sorry I screamed at you Tyler," she began. "I should have at least spoken to you and given you a chance to explain. But I never in a million years would have suspected that you were in an open relationship. Although I've heard of them before I've never known anyone who practiced it. I assumed you were cheating. I'm sorry."
