Lydia left for her dormitory early to avoid attending any more courses for the day. The cafeteria disaster drained her so much that she lacked sufficient energy to stay for her classes. She tossed and turned in bed all day, but she was unable to fall asleep. She saw the looks, the laughs, and the way Ethan had stepped over her as if she were nothing every time she closed her eyes.
