Chapter 16 The Devilish Boss

Xander started to feel uneasy when he couldn't find Angel anywhere in the auction room. Phoebe was such a nag. She explained things that didn't matter to him. He just wanted Angel to be within his sight. He was worried that Angel would meet a bad guy, then he would take advantage of her naivety. Unable to stand being among sycophants who were trying to offer him antiques at fantastic prices, Xander went to look for Angel. He tried looking in the dining room. Then he went to the bar next to the dining room because he couldn't find Angel in the dining room. His jaw tightened when he found Angel sitting next to a stranger in an expensive suit. He didn't care who the man was or what his title was. He was furious when he saw the man kissing Angel.
