Chapter 45 Practically Lovers

Jack smiled at Maya and took her hand as they both joined other couples on the dance floor while Cindy looked on in disbelief. Maya had clearly heard that it was a dance for lovers and knew that Jack's lover was present yet she asked him to dance with her. If this wasn't more than enough proof, then what was? Cindy kept staring at Jack who hadn't bothered to pay her a glance since he began his conversation with Maya. A love song was selected for the couples on the dance floor. Maya placed her head on Jack's chest while her arms circled his shoulders as they slowly danced to the music.
