Chapter 44

Lusia I opened my eyes slowly letting out a yawn. I stretched my body across the bed and was surprised at how soft it was. There was an intense light coming from behind me which bathed the room and the bed I laid on. It was much warmer than it was supposed to be. I didn’t hear the sound of birds chirping, which was strange as well. Where did all the birds go? I turned to the other side of the bed lazily, and what I saw next frightened me.
