Chapter 6 Wanting To Break The Barriers Around Her

Gnero POV’s I stared at the door as soon as she left and I scoffed. It was still a misery to me as I wondered how she became the heir to her father’s business. I know she was his first child, but he had capable sons who were good for the task. I’m not against female child’s supremacy, but he should have atleast taught her something. Initially this wasn’t what I bargained for. I thought as a mafia heir she was strong and reliable but she’s just a spoiled daddy’s child, no wonder it was easy for her family to cast her aside. She was only good at throwing tantrums and trying to act smart whereas she wasn’t a bit smart. At the motel I could read her thoughts from her expression, she wanted me to disvirgin her because of what her abductors said, she didn’t know that should be the least of her problems. I refused to give her what she wanted because I needed to see how far she was willing to get what she wanted. But she disappointed me. It was fun watching her playing hard to get, it made me yearn for her the most. I’ve always had control around the women I’ve been with but she was different. “Boss,” Lucas said as he walked into my room. “I’ve investigated what you asked for, but they managed to clean their tracks properly, I couldn’t find a trace of who’d have wanted to kidnap your wife,” he said and the word wife rang into my ears. “Wife,” It sounded unreal and realistic at the same time. “Keep your investigation going, whenever you find something, let me know,” I said. “I will boss,” He nodded, and as he made to leave I called him back. “Get the best interior designers, I want my room well flourished and organized,” I said and Lucas' eyes widened. “Boss, are you okay?” He asked, my brow furrowed in confusion, the question had caught me off guard. I paused for a moment, my eyes darting around as if searching for an answer. “Yeah, don’t I look okay?” I found myself asking and he shook his head sideways, confusing me the most. “Boss, why do you want to design your room?” He asked and I cleared my throat. “Well, nothing,” I said, but deep down I knew it was because of Vanessa, the disappointed look she had on her face when she saw my room still lingered in my mind and I wanted to change that. “It’s shocking to see some changes after getting a wife. You cared less about your room, as long as it was properly cleaned you wouldn’t bother about it,” he uttered and I rolled my eyes. “I night as well get myself a wife,” he laughed sarcastically as he walked out. Lucas was the only one who could talk to me this way and wouldn’t be punished. We’ve been buddies for years who stood beside each other through thick and thin. Suddenly, I saw a lightning on my bed stand and a piercing sound followed. sighed and I took my phone placing it on my ear. “Gnero, what happened to the delivery I was supposed to get today?” A voice rang through my phone and my eyes widened. Fuck! I forgot I had delivery tonight, I was on way when I got a call from my henchmen informing me that Vanessa had being kidnapped. It wasn’t my priority to save her, but it wouldn’t do me any good for my reputation if word got out that my wife was kidnapped on the night we got married. “Something came up Gustavo, your deliveries would be sent tomorrow,” I replied and I heard him sighed. “If it was someone else I wouldn’t have let this slide. Considering you haven’t done this before I wouldn’t push this matter any further,” he said and I nodded as if he could see me. I knew he was all bluff, he couldn’t afford to get on my bad side, not now not ever. I was about to end the call when he saw. “Gnero, you’ve never forgotten about your deliveries before, what could be your…” he trailed off as if he realized something. “Oh my bad, I heard you got married, your wife must have being the cause, congratulations,” he laughed and I sighed, wondering why all of my actions had to be linked with my wife. “Thanks Gustavo,” I said, not wanting to banter words with him. “Since tonight is your honey moon, be sure to deliver my goods tomorrow,” he said and I hung up. I stared at my king sized bed and I wondered what Vanessa would be doing by now, this didn’t felt like a marriage to me, expect the amazing sex that comes with it, sooner or later she’d be naked, screaming on my bed. I dailed Lucas' number and he picked it up after the second ring. “Boss,” he answered, his voice rough as he was breathing hard, and I could hear the voices of women moaning and screaming in the background. I could tell he was inside of a woman, and my call was too important for him to ignore, so I made it snappy. “Get the deliveries ready, it should be sent before dawn. No mistakes,” I ordered strictly. “Yes boss,” he replied with a loud groan and I scoffed as I ended the call. Today had been hectic, this was the first time I wasn’t banging a woman after drinking this much. I sighed tiredly and i walked into the bathroom, I spent minutes under the shower as I couldn’t stop myself from thinking about Vanessa. I knew this wasn’t love, It was purely lust and I wanted to break those barriers around her, just to have a taste of her twenty four years honey pot. Mean right? Well she shouldn’t have played hard to get. I came out of the bathroom, I quickly got dressed and I laid on the bed, it didn’t take long before I fell asleep.
