Back at the penthouse, I forced myself to take a breath and regain my composure. It wasn’t easy especially after the whirlwind of the past few hours but I had to. Despite being promoted to head of acquisitions, I was still sharing a modest penthouse with Cynthia, Bun, and Travis. The only real difference was the two extra cashmere blankets Rafael had sent over from Tower City.
