I watched as Logan let out a sharp exhale, his frustration palpable. "How is she at fault?" he muttered, his voice tight with regret. "She went to the Southern Frontier with vital information. If only I’d trusted her, we could have been ahead of this. A single day, even an hour, can make all the difference in a situation like this. She did exactly what she was supposed to do, and it’s my mistake for not believing her." He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his dark hair, the weight of his thoughts clearly heavy on him. "And yet, even with all my security watching her, she still managed to slip away in the dead of night. I seriously underestimated her. Her resourcefulness is sharper than I thought."
