Chapter 22 "There Is No Time"

My legs suddenly gave out beneath me, and I felt myself tumbling at the floor. I landed with a thud, my body hitting the floor hard. My palms stung as I tried to break my fall, but my knee hit the floor first, sending a shockwave of pain through my whole body.
