Oliver rushed in. He hadn't originally followed them, but when his eyelids suddenly began twitching uncontrollably, he feared something was wrong and hurried over. Just outside the courtyard wall, he heard William call out for Isolde. Without hesitation, he charged into the yard and burst through the door. He pulled Isolde away and wrapped her in his arms. Seeing her nearly deranged with fury, his heart burned with rage and anguish. Gently, he coaxed, "Isolde, put down the dagger."
