Even when the door clicked, Odessa didn't turn to see who was getting into her room. She was sitting still, contemplating how she would force herself on the king. She rolled her eyes when she heard Lyra's voice in the room, then finally turned to confirm she was the one. “Did the king tell you to kick me out of the room since I'm no longer his slave?” Odessa blurted, getting to her feet. “It's okay to obey him, Lyra.” she slid her feet into her footwear, then raised her face to look at the pale lady gazing at her. “Where are you taking me to? Am I going to stay with my family?”
