At sunset, everyone gathered and watched as Vynessa was executed. Pandra didn't believe that the woman who had wanted to be her ally was that dangerous, and she seemed like an apprentice to her. She watched as Odessa retreated to her hut with Lyra after Vynessa’s body was taken away, and then she headed back to her quarters as well. Several times, she had watched people who violated the law get executed, but she hadn't been touched like the way Vynessa’s death touched her.
