Chapter 45

Odessa was dragged to the interrogation room where she alone was kept. The matter had to do with attempting murder and wasn't a simpler one like the other times she was being punished. She was forced to sit on a huge chair, and her limbs were tied to it so she wouldn't make a move. She trailed her eyes all over the three guards standing before her and snarled, “I swear with my life that I did nothing like that. Go tell your king that I didn't. How will I think of killing someone who would just rip me apart?” she yelled at them, trying to move her body, but couldn't.
