The orderlies had just reached the mansion’s grand foyer with Damian when the first window shattered. Glass exploded inward as three masked men in black tactical gear burst through. The security alarm blared, its shriek mixing with Serena’s surprised scream from the study. “What is the meaning of—” One of the orderlies started to protest, but a swift punch to his jaw cut him short.
