With each of Wynter's words, Nelson's face grew progressively darker. If she was going to be so direct in her answer, she may as well have named the Shepherds. Wynter was instantly recognizable to anybody who heard her. implying. Nelson was sliced apart by their disdainful glances like daggers. Nelson was surprised by Wynter's harsh tongue. Without a sweat, she had publicly put down the Shepherds. Given her past with Charlie, he first believed she would be easily swayed. Charlie said that Wynter was still swooning over him. and her lack of interest back at the mansion had only been an act.

You attempted to dismiss that as a miscommunication, but it does raise questions about Shepherds' haughtiness. When I claimed I hadn't, did you think I was being evasive?
