Chapter 27 : Don’t Touch Me There

I walked behind the guard dressed in his all black uniform. I had been summoned to the Blood Moon pack’s leader meeting for some unknown reason, and one of Zander’s personal guards had come to retrieve me. I wanted to see Zander as much as I wanted an hernia, but who was I to deny the Alpha what he wanted? We walked into the lower level of the mansion and I made sure to keep my gaze cast downwards. I was still plagued by what Ruth had told me yesterday. Not only that, but I was still not over what Zander had said about me. His words had been cruel and hurtful. I wanted an apology from him. I wanted to hear him say the words, ‘I’m sorry’. But I also knew better than to hold my breath for something that would most likely never come.
