Chapter 23

Melissa thought her heart was going to explode with the way it was beating so fast. She could see the seriousness and desire in Damien's eyes as he carried her with so much possessiveness in his arms. At this point, she was afraid he was going to eat her up if she refused him in any way. Melissa swallowed painfully the moment Damien pushed the door open. He shut the door with his legs and carried her towards the king-sized bed. He eventually placed her on her feet, then went ahead to instantly get rid of his jacket which he tossed on the floor.
