Chapter 12

AUDREY The knock on the door was abrupt, causing me to abandon the clothes I was trying to wear and fly down the short stairs with only a towel wrapped around my chest. I had no idea who it could be, but my best guess was my friends _ well, excluding Liam _ I wasn't expecting that one. That was because of my existing anger. He might show up here and I would be forced to talk to him in a way we both wouldn't like, and that would break my heart. So, for the love of God and the sake of my heart, he should stay away _ for now.
