Chapter 124 Thirteen: Piccola

"I can't stay locked away in your home forever," I tell Blake as I get ready to go in to the office. Lexi was sweet enough to bring me over a bag last night so I could have some of my own stuff. It also gave her a chance to grill Blake. He'd let her do her worst with a smile on his face, and he didn't shy away from any of her questions. Nor did they seem to scare him off. It meant a lot to me to see how kind he was with her, and the way he understood how important she is to me.
