Chapter 50

"Jeremy! Jeremy!!" I resounded his name with a shaking voice, but he didn't even spare me a glimpse. He was busy on his lane, swinging arms in fast-paced motion, and focused as though a Christmas chicken set free by its owner. Nonetheless, I didn't relent. I kept running after him too like a baby duckling running behind her mother. Just before Jeremy cornered to the next corridor of the building, a girl bumped at him, and they collided with their lips slipping against each other. I stood in place, my eyes widened, waiting for what would happen next. I prayed this busty blonde would not receive a slap for her mistake. However, instead of Jeremy yelling at her for not watching her path, he started smiling like an idiot, and behold was the girl responding with a gibberish smile.
