Did he just ask if I could pay for it? The woman burst out laughing. "What kind of violin is that? You think I can't pay for it? I can give you a hundred grand." The woman took out a card from her purse and tossed it at Corey. "Come to me if you need more. Let's go, son. We're not taking any classes today. Let's eat something good." The woman took her son and tried to leave. She only wanted her son to take up violin lessons so she could show off to her friends and family. Missing one day of lessons didn't mean anything.
"A hundred grand isn't enough," said Corey.
