Chapter 10 Impulsive Vow To An Enigmatic Husband
Dr. Dawson was making up some topical medications, and Cornelia was administering them to Marcus. She was really attentive and passionate about it. She hadn't ever been this attached to a guy previously, but she hasn't felt uneasy since. He served as her patient. Marcus's face grew somewhat red, but fortunately, the acute allergy made it difficult for others to see his discomfort. After getting married for more than a year, he had last seen her on the day they formalized their marriage. He hadn't ever gotten that close to a female previously, so he felt embarrassed and unsure of what to do. Her smooth head moved toward the front of his pupils, and a subtle perfume filled his nose. "I can do it myself," he stated abruptly in a strong voice, surprising Cornelia. Cornelia stared at him, bewildered. "President Hartley, would I hurt you by squeezing too hard?" Marcus maintained a straight expression.
"Ayden, take her home." Cornelia looked out through the window and noticed that it had begun to get light outside. She did not want to annoy anyone. "It's okay; I simply need to hail a cab home." Marcus said, "Suit yourself." Cornelia, Guys are so difficult to understand. After Cornelia departed, Dr. Dawson couldn't help but say, "Marc, Cornelia seemed like a great girl." Marcus: "You wanted her to turn into your daughter-in-law?" Dear Dr. Dawson, "Is that what I said?" Marcus: "What did you mean then?" Dr. Dawson became quiet. She wasn't even sure why she was saying that. Cornelia suffered much at work during the next four days. Cornelia evaluated her work spanning the previous several days and found nothing incorrect.
