Chapter 46 Caught Up Past

Dylan was in his study smoking a cigar and drinking whiskey. It had been 45 minutes since he told them to leave, so he got up from his desk and strolled upstairs to Brigette’s room. He peered inside and saw her crying on the floor, his anger dissipated slightly. This was someone that he raised as his own for 23 years. He knew all along that Brigette wasn’t his daughter, but he stayed with Aria despite his knowledge of her affair. Aria only stayed with Dylan because of his money and power; but now, that was slowly going away.
