She turned around and vaguely saw Stanley Cross stepping out of the car. It was no surprise that she recognized the car—it belonged to Philip Baker. Since Henry Baker and that side had severed ties, Samantha Yeager didn't dwell on it much. Upon returning home, the house was eerily quiet, with only faint sounds emanating from the kitchen.
