Xavier lay in bed, unable to sleep. The thought in his head barely gave him rest. He could close his eyes, but the images that flashed whenever he closed them weren’t ones he wanted there. They were images of his death at the hands of Mia. That was the last thing he wanted to see, though. He didn’t know how to deal with his mind. It’s been two weeks since being on the ship.
