Chapter 28

I woke up in the middle of the night because there was shuffling in our tent. Thinking that it was stray animal out to eat us, I sprang up into a sitting position. There was nothing at the tent entrance but a figure was on Sav's sleeping bag shuffling for a better position. The figure was too gaunt-like and muscular to be Sav. Before I let out scream, the figure lunged for me, it's hand slamming my mouth shut so hard, I ended up croaking out a muffled squeak.
