Sam ride drive inside the compound, Sam noticed the security has reduced and something hasn't been maintained for long time. He came off the car, he saw his mom, moving sideways. She didn't even notice the sound of the car. “Mom, it okay” Sam release him mom. Mr. Anita folds her hands together. It is not going to be okay, she looks at sam. “I haven't told grandfather yet, he might” she stops herself from completing the sentence. “I have always warned him, stop going to this Abandon places, but he Never listen”. She lays her two hands on Sam shoulder, she looks at the floor. Sam thoughts were empty. He forgot about the grandmother. Tears rolls down his cheeks. “How did it happen”. "Car accident" she replied. Sam mouth open wide, he couldn't cover it. “He called once asking about you, but you have left” she added. Sam reoccurs his dad voice. They entered the house. Grandfather saw sam, he smiles at Anita, “I told you, he will come back”. “I will give you the credit, suffering for a months” grandfather stare at him. Sam left for his mom room, they have many things to discuss, the doctor said it will take like a week or two for the body to be brought home. “I Can't believe this” Sam bend his head. “If only he had stayed at home” Mrs. Anita shouted. “Nobody would have been able to hurt him”. Sam sat on the bed, he covers his head with his hands, did I make a mistake, what if I had stay, maybe I would have been able to persuade him to come home. The last thing, is father heard about him, is he left home. “News hasn't gone out” Sam asked. “I have kept quiet, only our relatives”. Sam stands up, “we have to tell them” he looked at Anita. "Grandfather" we have tell them. Mrs. Anita rubbed her hands together, Sam went to their room, he knocked and grandmother answered. “Oh, Sam, you came back” she shouted. She hug sam, “we will allow you to do whatever you want, just don't run away” she touch his cheeks. “Why are you crying” grandmother touch his face. Sam enters their room, grandfather was sitting on the couch, grandmother was at the door post. Sam enters their middle. “My father” Sam muttered, but it was clear. "Is Dead". He bends his head's down. The room was quiet, Mrs. Anita watches from far. Grandfather laughs, “you just came and you are already ranting jokes” he laughs looking at Grandma. “I am truly sorry” he left. Grandmother held him back, “my son, she rested on Sam back. “Charles” she squeezed Sam clothes. Sam gently place her close to grandpa. Who kept smiling. “No” he mutters, “you gotta to be joking” he scratch his head. Sam left for his mom room, she was lean against the wall, “thank you, Sam” she stares at him as he approaches. "Mom" we have to get my father body on time, we can't leave it in a no man lands”. Mrs. Anita didn't answer at first, “they are going to bring it” she muttered. “There is no need going there” she added. “What are you saying mom” sam vibrate. “Samuel” Mrs. Anita looks at him, “I am not that strong, I could join him, if I bring his body now” she looks at him. “For once, let go through due process” she squats. Sam hits the wall, “dammit” he yelled. He left for his room. he wasn't settle, "accident" he thought, how can. He called christabel, “hi, I have arrived” he said. They had a brief conversation. Sam rested on his bed. His heads were unclear, there seems to be no way forward. Mrs. Anita called the first person in her contact. “How did Sam, get into the city” she asked. “I need you to check the airport, railway station, everything” she looks around. “I want to know where he is coming from” she ends the call. She knocks at Sam door. Sam opened the door. She walks in. this shouldn't wage us down. She looks at Sam, you have to start from somewhere. Sam understood what she is saying. “I have arranged for some meetings” she left. This is a responsibility he can't run from, he took a deep breath, but too quick he thought. It was dark already and grandmother kept sobbing. This was difficult for him to handle, he went to the golf field. He looks at the stars, he has always have good memories here. He came back to the house, he shakes his head, I was too busy with love that I didn't spend time with my family. Mrs. Anita received a call, “no trace” the voice said. “You mean he vanishes from his place and appeared here” she asked barking. “We are sorry, but he didn't use any transport” Mrs. Anita cut the call, he still had to plan his coming back, Mrs. Anita thought. I could lose him again, she whispered. She left to find him, Sam, he was outside, he kept staring at the clouds, looking for a written answer. Mrs. Anita taps him on the shoulder, Sam looks back. "Mom" he said. “Samuel, about what we discuss earlier” she came to his front view. “I am not pressuring you, take your time”, “I am not going to interrupt you or your actions” she added. “Mom, you were right, it has been done, and it can't be reversed, living in it only make us a coward” he looks at his mom," I am not going to wasting time” he stares at her. “ You should get some rest” sam touch her neck, Anita left for her room, she has been busy all through the week, Sam is here now, she doesn't have to worry anymore. Sam face the house, he turns around, can I keep the legacy you have left behind? He waited for an answer, the wind gave him one, to go inside.
