I froze for a second, then looked up at Robert, using sign language. "Sia? On what grounds?" Robert explained in a low voice, "After your disappearance, Mike applied for a death certificate. That made the family estate legally his property. When he remarried, Sia became his lawful wife. But for her to sell that house, Mike must've signed off on it. There's no way she could've sold it without his consent."
